Quarter Four Week of April 18th

Hello parents and families, 
Here is an overview of our week.

Language Arts

Spalding: We will continue working through our words. Remember that your student should be studying the phonograms consistently. Staying sharp with the phonograms is key to learning how to spell and decode.  If your student could use support in Spalding, please send them in Thursday mornings for tutoring. Tutoring will be held in my classroom from 7:10-7:45.

Literature: This week we began Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Please make sure your student brings their copy to school.

Singapore: We just started our unit on time. Please send your scholar into math tutoring on Wednesday mornings from 7:10-74:45 for extra support.


Science: In science we are working on classification of animals. We have worked through reptiles, fish, amphibians, and birds. We will begin mammals this week to finish up the unit.
