Dear Parents and Families,
Week 2 in 3B has been a wonderful success! Our scholars are quickly acclimating to being back in the classroom and proving to be a joy to all of their teachers.
Spalding: We will continue to practice manuscript and our phonograms. We have started to write in our books. It is so amazing to see your students excited when they find a word that fits into one of the rules we are learning.
Grammar/Composition: We will work on nouns this week. Give your scholar a noun and ask them if it is a person, place, thing, or idea.
Literature: We will continue to read Arabian Nights. Ask your scholar some questions at home.
What happened in the chapters this week?
What part was your favorite? What part was your least favorite? Why?
Which character is your favorite? Why?
What do you think is going to happen next?
Which virtues have you seen the characters showing?
Math: We will continue to work on place value.
Science: We will begin our study of Astronomy!
History: We will be continuing our unit on Geography.
The yellow folders that were sent home on friday are filled with your students graded work. Please empty the folder and sign the log before returning the folder on mondays.
